I can't provide a recipe, either, but my favorite is french onion soup with a little bit of sherry in it and a slice of toast on top with melted swiss or pepper jack cheese.

I sometimes find it easy to view some doctor's practices as nothing more than a scam, particularly if their treatment doesn't produce satisfactory results or if they push seemingly unnecessary meds all the time. However, they are only human and they can't possibly know the answers to every question and every problem, so I suppose the best thing we can do is choose our doctors carefully and hope to find ones who are the most qualified. Easier said than done!

My father's family immigrated to the United States from Norway in the 1890s and my mother is from a Jewish family who left Europe before WWII while they could. The U.S. population is made up of mostly immigrants and even though the rate of immigration has increased over the past decade or so, still 47% of the U.S. is uninhabited. We certainly have the space, the question really is how well will our economy continue to adapt and permit immigration with the incoming administration. In my opinion, we have no excuse for not allowing the tired, the poor, the huddled masses yearning to breathe free a home here.

Maybe this isn't super weird, but I like vanilla ice cream with potato chips ground up and mixed in it.

I agree with marc62 that books are not obsolete. If you've invested so much in them and they bring you happiness, then by all means keep them. At least keep the ones that you might refer to or read again at some point. Depending on where you live, there are often local or chain stores that will buy your books from you to resell (Half Price Books, for example). You won't likely get a lot of money for them, but at least you can pass some of them along for others to enjoy. Also, not everything can be obtained online.

Command & Conquer! The entire series, I can't pick just one. The games have a steep learning curve (especially the older ones), but they are very challenging and there is so much to them that it can keep you busy for hours, days, weeks, til you die.

I've been watching "Orange Is the New Black" and now I'm addicted. I honestly didn't even think I would like that show and now I can barely take the time time to feed myself or interact with other people because Netflix has sucked me in.

I like pumpkin pie. Yup. Pumpkin pie. Can't get enough of it. I don't think too many people can get behind me on that one.
