Bloodhound & Pitbull Rescue - Within a hour of starting the post yesterday on Animal Rescue Stories. A Pitbull & Bloodhound wearing Collars showed up in my yard. I thought I had rescued almost every kind of dog you could imagine but I never rescued a Bloodhound. I have rescued numerous Pitbull's, Rottweilers and German Shepherds but you rarely even see a Bloodhound. So I hooked them to 20' Cables in my yard and did not know what the heck I was going to do. Luckily about a half hour later a lady came looking for them and I grabbed two leash's and helped her take them back home so it was a great happy ending. I can imagine that a Bloodhound would be a very expensive dog and somebody would have snatched it in a heartbeat.
Lets brag on our pets and share some our wonderful daily experiences we have with them. If it was not for the unconditional love and friendship we get from our pets we all would be on Antidepressants. I am sure we have millions of heartwarming stories to share. For instance right now my 40 lb. dog is wrestling with one of the cats and it just melts your heart to see them share so much love together.
I have done animal rescue work for years with a lot of published stories on my rescue work and I even received a Hero Award in 2012 in California. I would love to read other peoples rescue stories. Also Laura Simpson founder of the Harmony Fund that helps animals in other countries. She has a Website called - animalrescuechase - and it is really easy posting rescue stories on her Website daily.
Finding really sincere loyal friends is one in a million. I have always valued real friendship with all my heart. I thought the bond was something really special and awesome between two people. But in the last ten years about 99 % of everyone I felt was my friend gave up what friendship I thought we had just to cheat me out of some money. Sometimes it would only be $10.00 I don't think most people have very many people they can go to when they are in a tight spot. I could never understand why anyone would burn their bridges with somebody that actually cared enough to help them just for a few dollars. So I agree friendships are very hard to find especially when it is so hard to trust and believe in people. Some of the people on Cyberfriends are serious about making new friends and its a start if you at least reach out. If anyone really wants a true, honest, loyal, loving friend get a animal because they will always love you and never stab you in the back. And if you want to learn about love and you want to get it right learn from animals
